Contemporary/Creative Dance - Monthly Workshop Saturday 11am - 1pm - £10.00 Upcoming Dates: Jan 13th Feb 10th March 9th Led by Geraldine Hurl, contemporary choreography workshops take place monthly. From the initial workshop in 2021, a core group of older dancers have worked together to form the Teifi Dance Group. The workshops are open to adults, particularly older adults. In the workshops participants focus on: - Exploring the natural energy of the body; - Improvising and creating new movement combinations in response to music, stimuli or abstract ideas; - Connecting and working with others in the process of dance making; - Boosting physical and mental well-being Please book in advance if possible, or email teifidance@gmail.com to confirm attendance and then pay at the door. More about Geraldine.... Geraldine has developed a 40-year career working as a dance artist practitioner particularly in the fields of professional development and training, community dance and dance education. She has worked for several key dance organisations in Wales and is currently working as a freelance dance specialist and consultant. She has gained a wide range of experiences across many dance disciplines: choreographer and performer, dance lecturer, teacher, facilitator, and trainer. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a booking, full refunds can only be given if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking. (This is for all classes, workshops and block bookings). If you need to re-schedule a 'drop in' weekly class to a future week you are able to do this up to 24 hours before the class is due to start (this does not include workshops/events or block booking options). It is possible to do this through your online account. Refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed. Please do contact the studio if anything is unclear. Thank you.
