Service Description

As part of this months BLOOM Breathe session we will be exploring a transformational conscious connected breathwork session with optional journaling to close the practice. Join Nia for this monthly Conscious Connected Breathwork session. Why we might practice conscious connected breathwork? ~ physical, energetic and emotional release ~ can improve sleep ~ can ease stress and anxieties ~ expanded state of awareness ~ connect with your inner intelligence ~ get insights into issues in our lives ~ improve relationships with friends and family ~ encouraging deep presence ~ healing function ~ personal power and creativity can be restored and enhanced. ~ groundwork for profound personal development ~ clarity ~ inner peace. A couple of things to note: You will want to be warm and comfy for this class, this style of breathwork is taken lying down so please have layers and socks at the ready! Blankets are available at the studio but if you have your own that you know you like to use bring it along. Sleep masks are also great if you have one, they can also be provided. It is advised not to eat a heavy meal up to 2 hours before. Music will be played at a high volume. You may also want to bring a journal / notepad as there will be time for you to reflect at the end of the session. I also ask that you arrive a few minutes early so that we can start on time :) Important: Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with epilepsy, detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases (including prior heart attack), mental disorders (manic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, etc.), strokes, TIA´s, seizures or other brain/neurological conditions, a history of aneurysms in the immediate family, use of prescription blood thinners, hospitalized for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, osteoporosis or physical injuries that are not fully healed, acute somatic and viral diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III), chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal illness, individual intolerance of oxygen insufficiency, cancer and Low Impulse Control.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a booking, full refunds can only be given if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking. (This is for all classes, workshops and block bookings). If you need to re-schedule a 'drop in' weekly class to a future week you are able to do this up to 24 hours before the class is due to start (this does not include workshops/events or block booking options). It is possible to do this through your online account. Refunds may take up to 14 days to be processed. Please do contact the studio if anything is unclear. Thank you.
